China Care Fund Ltd. is a registered and non-profit making charity.

It commenced in October 1993. Sister Law Yuen Ming Agnes, and a group of volunteers felt the need for service in China. They also felt the need for the people of Hong Kong to know China. They took with them materials badly needed in the remote regions of China and ventured into a world hitherto relatively unknown. They shared the vision that the people of Hong Kong and those in the motherland will co-exist.

Their work had since attracted the attention of a number of people, amongst them the Head of United College, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Professor Wong Kwan Yiu, who not only donated substantial sums of money towards this noble course but himself part-took in visiting these remote areas in China. Professor Wong was soon joined by Dr. Lui Pui Man May, an entrepreneur, and Mr. Tso Yeung Arthur, a solicitor.

Sister law, Professor Wong and Mr. Tso are now the directors of China Care Fund Ltd. They, with the help of numerous volunteers and three paid staff now oversee the charity's projects and plan future developments.
