With the sponsorship of Wofoo Social Enterprises and the help of students from St Mary's Canossian College and Sacred Heart Canossian College, the library project in Huai Ji has carried out successfully.
The theme of the library is forest. The library collects about 3000 books. There is a reading room for primary students to enjoy their reading time.
Participants of this programme were divided into 4 groups and each group responsible for a specific task. They helped to set up the library by coding books, training student librarians, decorating the library and promoting reading.
They visited another primary school in Huai Ji and an unstable school. They went to home visiting and learnt that they ought to treasure what they have in HK.
